As the Antalya Diplomacy Forum came to a conclusion this weekend, what I found shocking was the lack of overall condemnation of US and Israeli military adventurism in the Middle East. Don’t get me wrong — countries like Pakistan and Turkey are doing all they can to bring a ceasefire to the never-ending wars and hostilities waged by a delusional US President and his proxy genocidal state of Israel.
Sadly, in my humble opinion, these efforts will not result in extending the ceasefire and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Neither the genocidal regime nor its primary backer has experienced the kind of setback needed to bring this war to its conclusion. In Israel, people protested both the extension of the war into Lebanon and against the ceasefire at the US embassy. Even though the US President “prohibited” his friend — the genocidal Bibi — from bombing Lebanon, the Israeli regime is not paying attention.
At the same time, the US military under Secretary of War Pete Hegseth sent thousands more US troops to the Middle East. This is combined with asking for 200 billion dollars for the current war and another 1.5 trillion dollars for the Department of War in the 2027 fiscal year budget.
Donald Trump has a complete mental disconnect. Meanwhile, someone close to him or in his administration has been making hundreds of millions of dollars by buying stock options within minutes of his announcements. He openly touts how this war is profitable for Peter Thiel, the PayPal mafia, and the Epstein class. On his Truth Social posts, he shares stock ticker symbols for the genocidal Palantir corporation. He has a total disconnect from the American public that is suffering from increased prices at the pump and grocery stores.
So as Europe deals with running out of jet fuel in six weeks, and Australia and Southeast Asian countries deal with severe fuel shortages, the US launched its own blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian ports.
While the whole world witnessed the Iranian regime — or what’s left of it — send 71 delegates for peace talks last week, the US Vice President, after his colossal defeat in Hungary, only lasted a day in negotiations. Both parties looked each other in the eye, and Iran didn’t flinch to US pressure.
While the US has been waging wars over the past 47 years, the Iranian regime has been preparing for the ultimate conflict with the US and Israel.
Some will argue that the US and Israel have won the battle against the Islamic Republic. They have won the battle, but just like Afghanistan, they are about to lose the war. The Iranian regime is about to play its trump cards in the Strait of Hormuz and in the Red Sea. They will stay in power as they fire their last missiles and drones — with the last man standing who believes in protecting the interests of the Axis of Resistance.
As Iran and the Axis of Resistance see it, this is a holy war imposed on them. The IRGC and Mullahs have no place to go or travel to. Unlike Israelis, they are not dual citizens of any country. Unlike US citizens, their passports do not give them the right to travel. They have no choice but to continue fighting.
Now, if the international community acted and prosecuted the war criminals of Vietnam, Iraq, Libya, and other conflicts — if they actually did their job — all this war would have been avoided. They are complicit because they lack the courage and the guts to stand against tyrants.
Ultimately, we need to take the profit and financial incentive motives out of war. If governments and politicians are too weak and chicken to prosecute the war criminals among them, we need to go after the executives and companies that support them. Hence I am attempting to gain support and signatures for our Petition to Hold Big Tech Companies and Executives Accountable and Complicit in Genocide.
